Work with Us

Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. is a company full of people with a passion for construction, who have chosen the construction industry as the place to build their careers.

We may work in jeans, hardhats and boots but we take pride in everything we do, and we work really hard to get the job done right.

Providing a safe work environment is our top priority and we’ve developed policies and procedures to ensure our employees make it home every day safely. Site supervisors are supported by a commitment to safety first that runs from the very top of our organization to the entry level. Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. has implemented a drug, alcohol and fitness-testing program for all new hires.

We are also big believers in setting our employees up for a successful career; we have therefore provided ample opportunities for employees to advance within the company.

At Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. we value our culture that has been built on teamwork, so when we’re not working you can find us at social events or volunteering in the community.

Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. is committed to providing employees and their dependents with the best health and benefits coverage possible. Accordingly, we have signed up with a great company that provides employees with an excellent benefit package. The Merit Contractors Association has a benefits program administered by Mercon Benefit Services that was specifically designed for employees in the construction industry. The hour bank plan is transferrable between Merit member firms and allows for coverage during the off-season and lay-offs. Upon completion of 300 hours of work, comprehensive benefits include: dental, medical, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, out-of-country coverage as well as an employee assistance program provided through Shepell FGI.

We believe in our employees’ future and encourage employees to prepare for their future. All employees are eligible for matching RSP contributions after one year of employment.
