Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for all project management aspects on assigned contracts. The Project Manager will be comfortable in a leadership role attending site meetings, scheduling projects with customers, monitoring project costs, and solving project issues. They are responsible for ensuring that assigned work progresses on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule construction activities in conjunction with Estimators, Superintendents and Foremen.

Communicate with Safety personnel on project start up and safety requirements, both internally and of the client where applicable.

Verify contract documents and blueprints for accuracy and project materials.

Ensure proper materials are received on job sites as per specifications.

Communicate personnel and equipment requirements to Superintendents.

Attend client meetings as required and act as a liaison with customers.

Monitor project costs and financial reports.

Provide feedback to operations and estimating teams regarding productivity targets.

Resolve issues to meet project goals.

Ensure force accounts and change orders prepared by foremen are properly completed, signed and submitted to the office.

Ensure that all sub-trades on assigned contracts are qualified to work with Professional Excavators

Ensure that company locates are up-to-date and that all sub-contractors have their own, up-to-date locates as well.

Must be able to meet all company and customer safety requirements and applicable policies.
Requirements:
-
Previous Civil Construction experience.
-
Preferred experience in project management or coordination in civil construction.

Ability to be proactive and to react to events appropriately.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities.

Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Project and Bid2Win estimating software.

Valid Driver’s License (Class 5).
